Orphans, responsibility of the whole community
World Orphans Day is celebrated on 7 May and this year saw more than 1000 participants who gathered at the St. Camillus Dala Kiye Center in Karungu .
An opportunity full of opportunities to highlight various aspects relating to the conditions and needs of orphans, whose central theme – Orphans, the responsibility of the entire community – was developed in the following points:
- Sensitize the entire community to be able to respond correctly to the needs of orphans
- To ensure that orphaned children are able to effectively face life’s challenges by providing them with adequate tools
- Improving the care, support and protection of orphaned children in vulnerable conditions
- Reduce discrimination against orphans
