The project takes care of 60 children suffering from AIDS and treated with antiretroviral therapy, followed by 6 maternal figures and housed in as many houses as inside the Dala Kiye Centre.
Currently the active houses are:
- CHEETAH House (Cheetah)
- KIBOKO House (Hippo)
- SIMBA House (Lion)
- TAI House (Eagle)
- TEMBO House (Elephant)
- TWIGA House (Giraffe)
Children participate in the center’s activities and attend the B.L. Tezza School, which is located within the complex, but they maintain constant contact with the surrounding community and their families of origin.
Their education is entrusted to qualified personnel accompanying them in their human, religious, and socio-educational growth.
Il St. Camillus Dala Kiye is a non-profit institution. Everything we can do, all the help we can give to the orphaned children of this area, is the result of the contributions of so many friends and benefactors who support us constantly with donations, fundraising, and a program of foreign sponsorship.
