We celebrated the Baptism and the First Holy Communion of eighteen children from Dala Kiye at Mass in the hospital. The minister of the Baptism was none other than; Fr. Emilio, who encouraged the Neophytes to live a life of holiness caring and loving one another.
In the afternoon we celebrated the Birthdays of Ruth Atieno, Fidel Luambe, Decy Auma, Wycliffe Omondi, Melvine Adhiambo, Neville Nicole, Penina Muga, Hillary Clintone and Mary Akinyi.
The newly baptized children and the ones celebrating their birthday shared a well decorated cake offered by our volunteers Emma and Gaia. It is during this occasion we bid farewell to Emma and Gaia who are going back to Italy, after staying with us for 10 months.
During the same occasion, we bid farewell to Christine Gunson. Greta gave small presents to the children celebrating their birthday, the celebration was at the gazebo.
