In distance I see your light, Lord! Teach me your ways and I prepare a cot for you maybe in a stable in a cardboard cave. Lord, will you return in glory? I feel the weight of the years of many Christmases lived without you, my God, never born in the heart clogged with glow away from your splendor. I await you, Lord, while you wait for me and vigil leafing through past history enjoying my today Looking to the future. Lord, hope surrounds me imprinted on the faces of tried people and never defeated as the convulsive force advances of those who, speaking of you, They disfigure the land of blood. Lord, I am awake, waiting for you, spring breeze, Raised today the heart I open my eyes drowsy I still give you life. (Prayer of Fr. Pino – Macerata)
