SCHOOL HISTORY

The school was founded in 1982 by the local community and was taken by the government the same year. The school is located in West Karungu, Nyatike Sub – County, Migori County

8 TSC teachers, 1 county government teacher responsible for kindergarten, 2 PTA/BOM teachers and 2 kindergarten teachers

INFRASTRUCTURE

The school has 6 complete permanent classrooms and an incomplete class. Other classes are still learning in temporary facilities.

SCHOOL DESCRIPTION

It is a public institution that offers all the primary classes of the 8.4.4 system. It is a Christian institution that operates on the religious values of love, respect, self-control and fear of God. Most of our dreams for school especially in parents is to ensure their children basic education, able to make informed decisions about their future and to protect themselves from trafficking, sexual exploitation, HIV/AIDS among other problems.

CONCLUSION

Agolo Muok Primary School had six permanent classrooms in poor condition.

The classrooms have been renovated with the help of Dala Kiye and We World Onlus.

In the year 2016, the two organizations again helped build an ECDE block of two classrooms that absorbed young students who before then were learning under the trees.

Other media received by the two organizations include 2 blocks of VIP latrines, review books, skits of games, desks, hand washing machines and learning materials for early childhood education.

The cost of the restructuring was Ksh. 2,317,870
