The St. Camillus Mission Hospital Karungu took part in the event, promoted by the Kenyan Bishops’ Conference, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary celebration of AIDS prevention and fight activities carried out by Catholic institutions in Kenya.
P. Emilio Balliana, director of the St. Camillus project, together with his team illustrated the program and activities of the Karungu mission.
The busy calendar of the Conference, which saw over a thousand participants, was divided into four intense days, through numerous discussion groups on the main topics relating to:
- HIV-positive and AIDS
- Prevention
- condition of orphans in Kenya.
